Captain JackThe tides are about to get stranger for Johnny Depp.

The Wrap reports that Depp is "close to a deal" for a fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean," surprising... well, nobody. The latest movie in the franchise, "On Stranger Tides," just passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office, and Jerry Bruckheimer is rumored to be meeting intensively with writers to polish up the screenplay.

We can hardly imagine what shenanigans Captain Jack Sparrow will get into this time, but we're sure the masterminds at Disney have something clever up their sleeves.

In the news after the jump, some major comedians check in to "Hotel Transylvania," a "Zombieland" star thinks the sequel won't ever happen and a brilliant moviemaker signs Christopher Walken on as Zeus.

"Hotel Transylvania" Gets Some New Guests
Sony Pictures is amassing quite a cast for their new animated 3D family comedy, "Hotel Transylvania," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Andy Samberg are among new additions to the cast that already includes Fran Drescher, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon and Cee Lo Green. The flick is the first animated film to jump on the popular vampire bandwagon.

Jesse Eisenberg Says No To "Zombieland 2"
The fact that Ruben Fleischer has already moved on to dramatic territory previously led us to believe that "Zombieland 2" is dead in the water, and now Jesse Eisenberg has furthered those fears in an interview with Little While Lies. "No [I'm not making the sequel]. They're writing the script right now but I haven't seen it and I suspect that the longer we wait, the less relevant it will be," he explained. "I mean, all the actors would love to do it and the director would love to do it but I'm not sure what's happening."

Clark Gregg And Rachel Bilson Join "The To Do List"
Clark Gregg and Rachel Bilson were never two actors we particularly expected to spot in a movie together, but now that The Playlist has announced they have joined the ranks of "The To Do List," we can see it's a perfect fit. They'll be joining the previously announced Aubrey Plaza, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Donald Glover, Connie Britton, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Scott Porter, D.C. Pierson and Dominic Dierkes in the film.

Christopher Walken Is One Of Many "Gods Behaving Badly"
Marc Turtletaub is one smart man, because somehow he managed to get Christopher Walken, John Turturro, Edie Falco, Oliver Platt, Sharon Stone and Alicia Silverstone (plus many less-known stars) on board for his latest flick "Gods Behaving Badly." Based on the Marie Phillips novel, Movieline has learned that the film tells the story of a young couple who cross paths with the Greek gods, who just happen to be shacked up in NYC. Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship to us.
